The Kikuyu Constituency Jitume Centre of Excellence & Digital Hub
MP kimani Ichung'wah, together with officials from the ICT Authority and the Konza Technopolis Development Authority, today led us in the launch of construction works for the Kikuyu Jitume Center of Excellence & Digital Hub.
The ultra modern facility will comprise the following amenities;
†Jitume training centers for our youth to acquire on-demand digital skills that will enable them to leverage the vast and diverse remote work spaces for opportunities.
†Kazi centers for the trainees to work from and earn upon completion of their training programs.
†Tech hubs for software, websites and other technology developers to undertake their projects.
†Dedicated studio spaces with specialized equipment to allow our young creatives to develop their artistic ideas into income earning productions.
†A Huduma (e-citizen)centre to facilitate easy access to government services for the residents of Kikuyu.
†Outdoor seating areas and wi-fi zones.
†Closed and open office spaces.
†A server room.
†Administration offices.
†Boardrooms.
†A food court.
The center will provide an all-round ecosystem designed to nurture talent, build digital skills, support innovation, create opportunities and connect our young people to the jobs of the future.
